"AIST"- common use passenger processing system has landed at Kazan Airport!
Kazan International Airport named after G.M. Tukay has transitioned to the domestically developed "AIST" common-use platform, created by "Neolabs". The solution will unify the operation of check-in counters and boarding gates for all airlines, enhancing passenger service efficiency.
Key Benefits of the Implementation:
· Shared Infrastructure: Airlines can use common check-in counters and boarding gates without the need for equipment reconfiguration.
· Peripheral Compatibility: The platform works seamlessly with document scanners, baggage tag printers, and boarding pass printers.
· Integration with Other Systems: As part of future development, "AIST" will be able to interact with the "Special Control" and "VESTNIK" solutions, creating a unified digital passenger journey.
· New Functionality: A new feature has been implemented enabling the printing of boarding passes using Re-print kiosks, based on mobile boarding pass data and flight parameters received from the AODB.
"It is important for us that the transition to domestic software not only aligns with the import substitution strategy but also enhances the quality of services. The "AIST" platform has already proven its reliability in other airports, and we are confident in its effectiveness, " noted Marina Saparova, IT Director at Kazan International Airport named after G.M. Tukay.
"The implementation at Kazan Airport is another step towards the technological independence of the industry. The solution is adapted to meet the requirements of airports of any scale, is ready for individual customization, and is designed for future integration with biometric systems, " added Alexander Semchenko, CEO of "Neolabs".
