In September 2022, Uzbekistan hosted the 22nd Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. The first to warmly welcome the heads of state and international delegations was the newly built, state-of-the-art airport in Samarkand.
The construction of the new terminal utilized advanced technologies and solutions from leading industry suppliers, and we were fortunate to be among them with our "VESTNIK"- Passenger information system public address system.
For us, this project was a pioneer in many ways: it was our first venture into the dynamically developing market of Uzbekistan; our first project with full-fledged support for the Uzbek language for passenger announcements; and the first where we implemented integration with software solutions from TAV Technologies.
