The Digital TOP Award Ceremony was held in St. Petersburg. The project to launch mobile boarding passes at Pulkovo International Airport was named the best in the air transport category.
The service allows passengers flying within Russia with only carry-on luggage to avoid printing a paper boarding pass. Instead, they can simply present an electronic boarding pass on their smartphone screen after checking in online. The implementation of this service has reduced pre-flight processing time, making the passenger journey more seamless.
The project was launched in March 2023 as part of the import substitution program that the airport is implementing within the Industry Competence Center. We were the primary participants: the core technology enabling this service is our "Special Control" system for managing electronic boarding passes and performing multi-factor passenger document and data verification.
