The turnstiles at Vladivostok International Airport have become significantly more efficient following an upgrade to the "Special Control" software system, which is used for multi-factor passenger document and data verification and for managing mobile boarding passes.
The dual-lane turnstiles manufactured by "ELSI", installed at the entrance to the airport's sterile area and operating under the control of the updated software, now differentiate between passengers departing on domestic and international flights.
Thus, the fast and convenient passage through border control, which already did not require airport staff assistance, is now complemented by a solution to the problem of "losing" passengers who might have ended up at the wrong departure terminal (international/domestic) as indicated on their ticket.
