Pulkovo Airport has upgraded our multi-factor passenger document and data verification and mobile boarding pass management system, which is installed at virtually all passenger checkpoints. The most extensive "Special Control" implementation project to date has become even larger: the system has now been integrated with the Border Control automated workstations.
In combination with the new USPT reading devices from the Russian company "ELSI", "Special Control" now provides Border Control officers with comprehensive information on passengers on international flights, including passage timestamps, baggage screening status, and more.
At the same time, the workflow for Passenger Service agents has also become more efficient: when a passenger boards a flight, they can be assured that the individual has fully completed border control procedures.
